The Insurance Navigator Program, originally funded through the Affordable Care Act, was recently injected with $80 million via the Biden Administration through 2024. In a recent issue of the\u00a0<i><a tabindex=\"-1\" title=\"https:\/\/journals.lww.com\/jphmp\/abstract\/2022\/07000\/lack_of_consistent_investment_in_federal_insurance.11.aspx\" href=\"https:\/\/journals.lww.com\/jphmp\/Abstract\/2022\/07000\/Lack_of_Consistent_Investment_in_Federal_Insurance.11.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-label=\"Link Journal of Public Health Management and Practice\">Journal of Public Health Management and Practice<\/a>,\u00a0<\/i>a team of UW CHWS researchers published findings from 24 interviews with directors and other professionals at organizations funded through federally certified Insurance Navigator Programs to understand the work Navigators do and how organizations have strategized to continue providing services despite an unstable funding environment.
