The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthworkforceta.org\/publications\/hwrcs-annual-report-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"14\">2021 annual report<\/a> highlights recent activities over the past year including how their research has informed the health workforce response to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more about studies being conducted by the UW CHWS under the <a href=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/chws\/hwrc\/allied-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"15\">allied health<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/chws\/hwrc\/health-equity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"16\">health equity<\/a> HWRCs, covering topics such as diversity of the health workforce, occupational therapist role in the behavioral health workforce, burnout and stress among health professional students and faculty, and doula workforce.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nine Health Workforce Research Centers (HWRCs) funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) have been actively producing new studies on allied health, long-term care, behavioral health, and oral health workforces, as well as examining emerging ways by which workers are employed such as addressing health equity.
