In a recent newsletter for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/us3.campaign-archive.com\/?u=6ab1fc39a0b1b15521551487c&amp;id=53222e1d93&amp;e=b809255d6e\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tradeoffs<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/chws\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/10\/k0r5u4nx-tradeoffspodlogo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4141 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/familymedicine.uw.edu\/chws\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2020\/10\/k0r5u4nx-tradeoffspodlogo-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/tradeoffs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&nbsp;<\/a>focused on health policy issues,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/fammed\/chws\/team\/bianca-frogner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Director Bianca Frogner<\/a>&nbsp;highlighted how findings from a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/journals.lww.com\/lww-medicalcare\/Fulltext\/2020\/10000\/Practice_Patterns_of_Physicians_and_Nurse.13.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recent study in&nbsp;<em>Medical Care<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;by colleagues at University of Minnesota comparing services delivered by nurse practitioners versus physicians in primary care practices informs these scope-of-practice debates. A key finding is that despite overlapping 92% in the types of services delivered, NPs and physicians see different types of patients.
