This distinguished award <strong>recognizes Dr. Patterson\u2019s exemplary leadership in advancing rural medical education, research and scholarship, while demonstrating a steadfast commitment to training and teaching healthcare professionals who are equipped to meet the unique challenges of rural communities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Patterson was formally recognized at the 2026 Rural Medical Training Collaborative (RMTC) Annual Meeting this past April in Duluth, Minnesota (photo below).
