    Biography:
    Cyndy R. Snyder, Ph.D. is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Snyder's research interests focus on understanding racial and ethnic disparities in health and healthcare and the role the healthcare workforce can play in promoting health equity. Specifically, she is interested in: (1) the impact of racism and discrimination on the health and well-being of individuals and communities of color, (2) racial diversity and cultural responsiveness among the healthcare workforce, and (3) health and well-being among transracial adoptees and multiracial individuals and families. Dr. Snyder has led qualitative and quantitative studies and published articles in the areas of college access and campus climate, sociocultural and psychosocial development, and workforce diversity. Dr. Snyder completed her Ph.D. in Education Policy Research from UC Berkeley.
